Profile

Sharon L. Coggan, Ph.D. holds the B.A. from the University of Denver, a M.T.S (Master of Theological Studies) from Harvard Divinity School, a M.A. from Stanford University, and the Ph.D. from Syracuse University. She teaches at the University of Colorado Denver, and serves as Director of the Religious Studies Program, which she created. Her areas of study include History of Religions, and Psychology of Religion. She offers a range of classes on religion: World Religions, Concepts of the Soul, Concepts of the Divine, Death and Afterlife, Mysticism, Eastern Thought, Myth and Symbol, Classical Mythology, Perspectives on Dream Analysis, and the Hero’s Journey. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the C. G. Jung Society of Colorado.
