Posie is currently Director of Clean Heat Finance at the New York City Energy Efficiency Corp. (NYCEEC), an independent, non-profit financial corporation established by New York City to support the City’s energy and climate action goals by catalyzing an energy efficiency retrofit financing market for private building owners. Posie heads NYCEEC’s effort to increase availability of financing products for the conversion of over 7,000 boilers in buildings that burn heavy heating fuel to clean heating sources such as ultra-low sulfur #2 or natural gas in furtherance of the City’s Clean Heat Initiative. Additionally, Posie has done consulting work with HR&A Advisors and The Trust for Public Land on a variety of clean energy and carbon reduction initiatives.

Previously, Posie spent 28 years as a trading executive on Wall Street, the last 20 of which she served at Merrill Lynch.  Posie was Managing Director and co-head of Global Money Market Trading.

Posie holds an MBA-Finance from Fordham University, a BA in Asian Studies from CU-Boulder and a Landscape Design certification from the New York Botanical Gardens.
