Oliver Gerland, PhD in Drama and Humanities, Stanford University; BA in Philosophy and English Literature, Swarthmore College. Former Chair of the Theatre and Dance Department (1999-2003). CU faculty member since 1992. Research interests include Scandinavian modern drama (Ibsen and Strindberg) and dramatic theory and criticism.
