Liza has been working at the Center for Asian Studies since 2017.
Liza has an MFA in Theater Directing from the University of Iowa and a PhD in Theater History, Theory and Criticism from CU Boulder.
Liza has worked professionally in theater as a designer, manager, director, technician, and in marketing and publicity for over 30 years. She brings her experience in theatrical production, stage management, and years working in many capacities at CU Boulder to the event coordinator position at CAS.
She has taught for the Film and Television Department at at CU Denver, Colorado State University, Naropa University, CU Boulder, the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, the University of Iowa, Plymouth State University in NH, and Marlboro College in Vermont.
In her down time, you will likely find Liza exploring a National Park or enjoying time in hot springs.
