Catalog Description

Introduces reference tools for reading classical Japanese, and grammar, vocabulary, and use of scripts in premodern Japanese, focusing on the 10th century Taketori Monogatari and the 13th century Hojoki. Recommended prereqs., JPNS 3120, 3811, 3821. Requisites: Requires prerequisite course of JPNS 3110 (minimum grade C).
