Celebrate Denver Days 2015 at Central Park Stapleton with the 2nd Annual Japanese Kite Festival, featuring Special guest Mikio Toki, Edo Kite Master from Tokyo. On Friday, July 31, there will be a Kite Making Workshop from 10-12, or 1-3, and the workshop costs $5 per person. Registration is required. Saturday, August 1, is the Japanese Kite Flying Festival from 10-3. All ages are welcome, all kites are welcome, and picnics are encouraged.
