Nominations Open for the 2025-2026 Heartland Chinese Teacher Award

The U.S. Heartland China Association (USHCA) is pleased to announce the launch of this year's 2025-2026 Heartland Chinese Teacher Award (HCTA), now in its fourth year. This award honors outstanding K-12 Chinese language teachers who have made significant contributions to their students and communities through the teaching of Chinese language and culture.

September 18, 2025: Nominations open
November 30, 2025: Nominations close
November 1 – December 31, 2025: Teacher applications
January, 2026: Judges evaluate and select award recipients
February 21, 2026: Online Award Ceremony

This Award has meant a great deal to nominated teachers in previous years (2022, 2023, 2024-2025), and we are looking this year to expand our impact.
