This evening's program is the first of its kind at the College of Music, featuring works by Asian composers performed by musicians of Asian descent. Alexandra Nguyen and friends Yoshiyuki Ishikawa, Suyeon Kim, Hsiao-Ling Lin, Victor Avila Luvsangenden, Mutsumi Moteki, David Requiro, Harumi Rhodes and Meta Weiss will present solo, duo and trio works by composers of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Mongolian, Taiwanese and Vietnamese origin. A celebration of the Asian diaspora in western classical music, this is a unique event not to be missed!

Renowned CU Boulder College of Music faculty artists perform with students and colleagues in chamber music recitals featuring world premieres and beloved classics. Join us for this free series in person at Grusin Music Hall or via livestream most Tuesdays August through March.
