The 22nd CU Boulder Asian Studies Graduate Association (CUBASGA) graduate student conference took place on January 30th and 31st, 2021 on Zoom. Thirty-six presenters from University of Colorado Boulder and other institutions presented their research in front of a supportive audience and received feedback from CU’s faculty and the conference’s visiting keynote speakers –– Prof. Xiaofei Tian and Prof. Wiebke Denecke ––who are leading scholars in the fields of Asian studies. The conference facilitated academic conversation and networking among graduate students from across the U.S. The audience included both CU undergraduate and graduate students, faculty members as well as a general audience.
