Daryl Joji Maeda, Associate Professor in CU's Department of Ethnic Studies, will present a Brown Bag lecture on Bruce Lee. Dr. Maeda examines Lee as a transnational figure thoroughly enmeshed in trans-Pacific flows of people and culture dating back to the nineteenth century and accelerating in the twentieth century. He will also reconsider Lee’s martial arts in terms of hybridity and travel, especially in the context of the Cold War.

This Brown Bag event will be on Friday, October 11, at 12:00 pm in Guggenheim 201E. For more information, please see the webpage here.
