Sam Herwig received a BS degree in Technology, Arts & Media (TAM) from CU Boulder's ATLAS Institute and is now an MS student in the Creative Industries track. He creates interactive experiences using openFrameworks and processing using the Microsoft Kinect. His other interests include web and mobile application development, as well as creating physical interfaces using household objects.

T9Hacks attracts more than 70 percent female participants

More than 70 people attended ATLAS Institute's sixth annual T9Hacks on March 19-21, and more than 70 percent of them identified as female, meeting the organizers' goal of bringing in populations underrepresented in hackathons.
