Robert Lino graduated with a media arts degree and a minor in electronics and computer technology from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. He later joined Ohio University and graduated with an MA in communications and international development. His interest in ICT4D is inspired by his love for visual communications, which he says "has the ability to break the communication barriers for many people." Robert is interested in developing digital platforms for learning in international development, especially in rural areas. In his spare time he likes to write poetry, make toy cars and take pictures
