Mary Bowannie

Mary K. Bowannie received an MA in Journalism from CU Boulder. During her time in the ICTD program, she focused on education and internet access for Native American communities. After graduation, she went on to continue her work as adjunct faculty at The University of New Mexico in the Native American Studies, and Communication and Journalism departments. She also served as a research associate for the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation at the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute at their Albuquerque office.
