Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology
Malika Rakhmonova has a passion for developing biocompatible plastics that can save humans and the environment simultaneously. At the University of Colorado Boulder, she is currently pursuing a double major in molecular biology and biochemistry, and hopes to one day influence the development of renewable resources and their use in disease therapy. Her interest in biotechnology is fueled by environmental sustainability efforts, disparities in healthcare deliverance and the importance of scientific inquiry in bettering the lives of human beings.
