Madeleine Andersen

I'm interested in the intersection of arts and technology in a physical, tactile space. I've been a software engineer for four years, and in my free time I build stained glass windows, paint, and throw pottery. I love the logical problem-solving elements of my career and the creative physicality of my hobbies, and I'm looking for ways to bring that logic and creativity together. I want to explore how we can create beauty and meaning using technology in a physical, tactile space. I'm particularly inspired by the Hopscotch gallery and Leo Villareal's work! 

I'm also excited to learn about fabrication techniques using wood, 3D printing, laser cutting, and metal. I want to know how to do everything!
