A message from the director

The origins of CMAP stretch back to the creation of the ATLAS Institute itself. While ATLAS explores the relationship between invention, technology, and society in a broad sense, CMAP is focused on the intersections of the arts, media, performance, and technology, and serves as a hub for a vibrant community at CU.

I’ve been presenting my own creative work in public for more than 30 years, and have been extremely fortunate to curate and facilitate hundreds of projects by CU students and faculty.

At CMAP, we are particularly excited by the “recently possible,” and are delighted each season to incubate more than a dozen fresh projects that are alive with inquiry and experimentation. Please check our calendar often for listings of our many performances and installations (most of which are free), and please contact us if you are a student or faculty member interested in proposing a project.
