Jessica Dancingheart

  • B.S. Applied Earth Sciences, Stanford University
  • ATLAS INSTITUTE

Jessica bridges worlds. She melds diverse disciplines to design healthy, connected communities. Her work is grounded in lived experience and her broad professional expertise. She draws on research demonstrating the critical role of positive relationships on individual and collective well-being.

At the Brain Music Lab, she supports projects that investigate the physiological, neural, and social effects of human interaction. The studied interactions are mediated by music, movement, biofeedback systems, and processes of empathy and community-building. She contributes to research design, data collection, and interpretation of multi-modal findings.

Prior to ATLAS, Jessica worked in multiple professions that spanned physical and social sciences, engineering, and teaching.

In her free time, you will find her hiking, biking, or when there is snow cross-country skiing in the great outdoors.
