Deanna Gelosi is an ATLAS PhD student at the intersection of science, art and technology. Her research interests span creativity support tools, traditional craft and computing technologies, and digital fabrication. She is co-advised by Laura Devendorf and Ricarose Roque and is members of both the Unstable Design Lab and the Creative Communities Group. Prior to joining ATLAS, she worked at the Exploratorium in San Francisco in the Tinkering Studio and designed novel creative learning experiences that blend physical and digital making. Deanna holds a BA in physics and a MS in computer science from UC Berkeley. She also completed a certificate in new media and was a member of the Berkeley Center for New Media and the Berkeley Institute of Design.
