Deanna Gelosi

Deanna Gelosi is an ATLAS PhD student at the intersection of science, art and technology. Her research interests span creativity support tools, traditional craft and computing technologies and digital fabrication. She is advised by Laura Devendorf and is a member of the Unstable Design Lab. Prior to joining ATLAS, she worked at the Exploratorium in San Francisco in the Tinkering Studio and designed novel creative learning experiences that blend physical and digital making. Deanna holds a BA in Physics and an MS in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. She also completed a certificate in New Media and was a member of the Berkeley Center for New Media and the Berkeley Institute of Design.
