Information and Communication Technology for Development Master's Student

Blair Young comes to the ICTD master's program at the midlife of a 20-year career in the nonprofit sector, where she served primarily in child and youth services and reproductive health and justice. Currently, Blair is a principal consultant at Cultivation Center, where she helps position socially purposed ideas and organizations for success. Blair joined ICTD to explore technologies that impact the food and farming industry, including exploring technologies that address production, distribution, consumption and waste through an anthropological lens and with an environmental and food justice mindset. Blair is a mother to two young children and spends as much time as possible in the outdoors with her family.
