Chemical Engineering
Aya is an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in chemical engineering. She works on the slide-ring materials project under Carson Bruns, assistant professor and director of the Laboratory for Emergent Nanomaterials, and Karan Dikshit, a PhD student in materials science.
Aya loves research and is interested in pursuing research in the fields of materials science, polymer science or fluid mechanics after her undergraduate studies. Outside of school, Aya enjoys riding her road bike towards Denver to practice for her first century ride.
