  • High School Student Researcher
  • ATLAS INSTITUTE

Aaron Dolgonos is a researcher and lab member at the ATLAS Institute at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he studies the intersection of human cognition and computational tools. His current research explores how brainstorming seeds generated by large language models influence ideation, examining both their potential benefits and the risks of homogenizing thinking. Working alongside graduate students and Ph.D. researchers, he is conducting experimental studies to better understand impacts of AI-assisted creativity and problem solving. Outside the lab, Aaron is a co-founder of GlintBrush, a startup developing technology to democratize informal art sales in semi-public spaces, and an intern at AgentSync. He is passionate about advancing human ideation and problem-solving through interdisciplinary research across technology, creativity, and design.
