A 3D visual programming language, accessed using virtual reality headsets, designed for building virtual reality environments.

A mixed-reality interface that visually presents data collected by human and robot team members to improve situational awareness in the field during emergency response operations.

TorqueController, Wyatt Rees, PhD Student     IRON Lab
A customized drone controller that uses an attached system of dynamic flywheels to generate ungrounded torque feedback, signaling to the user potential environmental hazards.

Buy! Sell!, Matt Bethancourt, Senior Instructor & Lab Director and Danny Rankin, Instructor & Lab Director     Whaaat!? Lab
This award-winning, fast-paced, multi-player, stock-trading game uses analog telephones as game controllers, and players watch a fictional trading terminal full of charts and breaking news to make split-second decisions whether to buy or sell stocks.

Beholder, Peter Gyory, PhD Student     ACME Lab
An alternative game controller, Beholder is a toolkit for rapidly prototyping and implementing tangible game interfaces using simple materials and computer vision. Please download, print, cut and fold this paper catapult to bring to the session. Watch the Printed Paper Marker video here.
