The University of Colorado Boulder has been chosen by the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) to help lead the SEMINAL project—a study funded by the National Science Foundation researching how to best incorporate “active learning” into math classrooms.

CU Boulder program helps underserved and underrepresented students in the STEM fields gain valuable research experience for graduate school.

Believing that CU Boulder had helped lay the foundation of his success, Jack Hyatt supported the university for nearly five decades. Following his death, that legacy continues with bequests to the law school and the College of Arts and Sciences.

For the first time next fall, CU Boulder will host a Residential Academic Program for students interested in not only learning how to learn, but learning how to teach, as well, as Sewall Hall will host the first RAP for would-be educators.

This book consists of research papers that cover the scientific areas of the International Workshop on Operator Theory, Operator Algebras and Applications, held in Lisbon in September 2012.
