Qualified scholars engaged in pre/post doctoral or independent research related to AMRC materials or music-related collections or projects are encouraged to apply. A stipend of $800 is offered to help defray travel and lodging costs.

The American Music Research Center and members of the Lynn family invite CU student musicians, both graduates and undergraduates, who are planning to perform or undertake research related to George Lynn’s music, to apply for the annual George Lynn Award by APRIL 1, 2019.
Activities eligible to receive this award include:
Public performances or recitals of Lynn’s extensive catalogue of vocal, instrumental chamber, choral, or orchestral music.
Recording projects of all kinds related to the above in the coming year.
Research or prospective publications that use primary sources related to Lynn’s career as a conductor, teacher and composer [such as personal family scrapbooks.
