Breeana Tran

My name is Breeana and I am a business student from Colorado Springs, emphasizing in Finance and Accounting, and I’m very interested in consulting and politics. One of my favorite CU memories has to be my random late-night runs to Pearl Street and IHOP with my friends. Outside of academics, I’m interested in yoga, traveling, and writing, where I wrote an online book with over tens of thousands of readers, which has been such a meaningful passion project. I’m so thankful for this scholarship; it truly helps lift a financial burden off my family and means so much to be able to continue my education here at CU Boulder.  

Thank you so much for awarding me this scholarship, it truly means the world to me. I’m so excited to keep growing, learning, and chasing my passions here at CU Boulder. With all of my siblings in college right now as well as myself, things can get expensive, so this support makes a bigger difference than you can imagine to me and my family. I’m beyond grateful, and I’m committed to making the most of this opportunity by staying focused on my academics, getting involved, and helping create a welcoming, supportive community on campus.
