Congratulations to Payne Hennigan! While earning his PhD in Economics at CU Boulder (Department of Economics, College of Arts and Sciences), Payne has been devoting his free time to the study of Chinese and Japanese in the Department of Asian Languages and Civilizations. He has now accepted a position as Assistant Professor in the School of Economics at Peking University, arguably the most prestigious university in China. Payne is scheduled to graduate from CU in May 2022, and he will take up his new position in Beijing on September 1. Well done, Payne!
