CU on the Weekend returns this fall, welcoming attendees both in person and virtually. Always free and open to the public, the first lecture will be “America’s Broken Political Process and the Path Forward.”

Chancellor Philip DiStefano will hold the annual State of the Campus event in person for the first time in three years. Plan to attend, hear his address and enjoy a buffet breakfast following the talk. A livestream option will be available as well.

Acquired by the university in 2018, this giant collection of artwork created at Shark's Ink printmaking studio in Lyons, Colorado, spans more than four decades and illustrates a variety of printmaking techniques. The public is invited to an open house on Saturday, Sept. 10.

The Supporting Student Resiliency series provides faculty and staff with concrete skills to better support students, focusing on areas critical to retention and success. Join individual sessions Sept. 13, 20 and 27, or attend all three and get a non-degree certificate.

Alumna Linda Villarosa covers race, inequality and public health for The New York Times Magazine. In her new book, she tells the full story of racial health disparities in America, revealing the toll racism takes on individuals and public health.

All faculty, instructors, lecturers and adjuncts looking to build camaraderie and community are invited to attend the kickoff event for Faculty Shared Perspectives and Community Engagement, or SPACE, at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 8.

The CU Police Department is hosting free active harmer response classes for faculty, staff and students. No registration is needed; simply show up ready to learn what to do using the nationally approved “run, hide, fight” protocol. Officers will be sensitive to triggering language and visuals.

We’ve spread out far and wide. Now it’s time to reconnect and celebrate the history we share at one of our most treasured traditions—Homecoming. This year will include both in-person and virtual events, with plenty of opportunities to show your Buffs spirit.

Tailgating is back for the 2022 football season! During home games, attend Ralphie’s Corral at Duane Field for live marching band and spirit squad performances, photo ops and more.

Rita Moreno, one of only 17 performers to have won entertainment’s grand slam of prestigious awards—the Emmy, the Grammy, the Oscar and the Tony—will give an inspirational talk in the UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom.
