Academic advising and support exists within each college and often within each department from advisors, faculty, staff and administrators that can help students attain their educational goals.
It is essential for students pursuing the Leadership Studies Minor to talk with your respective advisors within your major or college about integrating the Minor with your other courses of study.
The Leadership Studies Minor (LSM) is now based in the CU School of Education. It is administered and supported by CU Engage: Center for Community-Based Learning and Research. CU Engage is collaborating with the Newton Chair in Leadership and other stakeholders on campus to help the Minor thrive.
If you are pursuing the minor or considering courses for the minor, please contact Travis Anderson, Director of Advising in the School of Education.
You are also welcome to reach out to Professor Ben Kirshner, CU Engage's Faculty Director, to learn more about the Center's vision for Leadership Studies or other CU Engage programs.
For additional information about the Newton Chair in Leadership or the Leadership Studies Minor, please contact Alexander (Sandy) Bracken, the Newton Leadership Chair.
