Bioelectrical Impedence Analysis (BIA)

Our BIA instrument allows us to measure a person's body composition (body fat and muscle mass).

Body fat and muscle mass are measured through electrical signals that pass through fat, muscle, and water in the body. The measurement is based on a reading of lean muscle mass which tends to give more accurate and comprehensive results.

Results provided following testing:
Height, weight, BMI, Lean Body Mass, Fat Mass, Phase Angel (cellular health), Body Capacitance (cellular energy), Resting Metabolic Rate, Waist Measurement, Hip Measurement, and Waist/Hip Ratio.
