Silvia Ibsen is a first-year MA student in Gender & Sexuality. She is a veteran of the United States Navy and completed her BA in Women & Gender Studies with a minor in Hindi/Urdu at the University of Colorado Boulder. She is dedicated to advocacy work and community building and is interested in transnational research focused on mental health, abolition, and critical consciousness.
