The Gender Justice League, our undergraduate student practicum group, has been working under the slogan "physically distanced feminist persistence" this semester -- starting out with in-person meetings, but as with all classes at CU Boulder this semester, have transferred to remote learning. This hasn't stopped them from creating several avenues for creating and curating joy for themselves and others, including a new website, zine, podcast and Instagram page.
'This Little Website is For You'
Equal parts activism, community and art, the Gender Justice League's new website, GJLWGST.com, contains links to many of their current projects, which include their blog posts, podcast, zine, and instagram channel.
Highlights include GJL member Adriana's article about random things that make them happy, and a great list of campus and community resources for support and involvement.

Podcast: Feminist Joycast
The members of the GJL have created a new feminist podcast where they emphasize joy, passion, and all things liberatory.
In the first episode, "What is Joy," GJL member Kiar discusses what it means to be joyful and why it's important that we seek out different forms of joy. The second episode "Queer Elders and Cookie Dough Phantom Limbs" finds GJL members Kiar and Mariana discussing queer ancestors, and the lack therof, from a queer perspective and talk about how the absence of queer elders acts as a sort of phantom limb. They also share their queer theory of cookie dough!

'this zine is for you' volume 1
This zine is focused on space: how you see your space, how you move within your space and into new spaces, enjoy the space we've all been quarantining in, and acknowledging to never be apologetic for taking up the space you need.
