Research and Evaluation Specialist
iDE

As iDE's Research and Evaluation Specialist, Rachel measures impact across country programs through research, publications, and academic partnerships. Her global evaluation work includes experimental design, sample design, data collection, survey-instrument development, quantitative analysis, and publication. Rachel brings experience from working on USAID, the Urban Institute, and Mercy Corps programs and research studies covering resilience, urban service delivery, water and sanitation, agriculture, and humanitarian response issues. She proudly served in the Obama Administration after working on his 2008 campaign. After earning her MA in International Economics and Development from Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies with Honors, Rachel traded in her east coast life to join iDE and learn the real definition of being “outdoorsy.”
