VitaWave Tech was founded in 2023 from the inaugural Embark Deep Tech Startup Creator program by Jason McGowin and T. Hingba . The company was founded on the work of Nam Bui (CU Denver Electrical Engineering; alum: CU Boulder Computer Science) in collaboration with Tam Vu (fmr. CU Boulder Computer Science) and Robin Deterding (CU Anschutz Medical Campus). VitaWave is commercializing a novel ear-based blood pressure monitoring device.
