The University of Colorado Connection

Icarus Quantum

Icarus Quantum began in the laboratories of JILA and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) at CU Boulder. Poolad Imany  began commercializing this revolutionary quantum dot technology with Venture Partners at CU Boulder in 2022 and pitched to the Bay Area Buff’s venture capital fund. Poolad is a rising star in his field. Icarus Quantum was one of the fifteen Colorado quantum companies that drafted the proposal to earn Colorado its designation as a federal Quantum Tech Hub.
