2.1—Targeted Cancer Therapy: Affibody-Directed Enzyme Platform for Precise, Repeatable Prodrug Activation
This method allows specific delivery of anti-cancer prodrugs to tumor cells using affibody conjugation, to avoid unwanted off-target effects and increase the time between drug doses. Antibody-directed enzyme prodrug therapy is a promising approach for selective treatment of solid tumors; this technology provides a solution to preserve enzyme activity on living cell membranes over multiple prodrug dosings.
