The United Government of Graduate Student (UGGS) is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the annual Graduate Teaching Excellence Awards and Outstanding Research Assistant Award for 2018-2019

This competitive award recognizes the teaching-related work of graduate students inside the classroom and beyond. The awardees will be publicly recognized during an event at the end of this semester. The award also consists of a monetary prize of $400 dollars.

Nominations close on April 15th at 11:59 pm. The Award Ceremony will take place on April 24th at 5:00PM (UMC).  

 

Please note that nominations for Teaching Excellence Awards may be submitted only for teaching experience prior to the Spring semester of 2019. Experiences for this semester are not eligible. Students may not nominate their current TA/GPTI and graduate students may not self-nominate. Nominee must have been at TA or GPTI during the semester referenced in the nomination.

Please note that nominations for Outstanding Research Assistant Awards may be submitted only for actions/events prior to the Spring semester of 2019. Experiences for this semester are not eligible. Students may not self-nominate. Nominees must have held an RAship during the semester referenced in the nomination.
