- Eleven university innovators pitched their innovations at Lab Venture Challenge, an annual funding competition hosted by Venture Partners at CU Boulder that helps accelerate commercially promising technologies into business ventures.
- The University of Colorado’s performance review and merit cycles will move into closer alignment for most university staff and all classified staff over the next two years.

- University Libraries has launched a new fund to support a growing collection of materials focused on Chicanx and Latinx communities on campus and beyond. The endowment was made possible by a generous donation by EBSCO Information Services.
- In April, Chancellor DiStefano announced the implementation of winter break for the Boulder campus. Governor Jared Polis is providing 12 hours of additional leave that can replace administrative leave already granted by a department for use during winter break. Get details.

- Alumnus Tandean Rustandy has given more than $10 million to CU Boulder, including support for the new $45 million Rustandy Building. At a ribbon-cutting Sunday, Rustandy surprised attendees with news of another $1.25 million gift.
- The Research & Innovation Seed Grant program––designed to stimulate new areas of research, scholarship and creativity on the CU Boulder campus––is accepting proposals through Jan. 19.
