- The Innovating Large Courses Initiative is a new program focused on supporting academic units to create sustainable change for learning in large courses at CU Boulder. The initiative aims to improve student success in these courses through team-based efforts and cross-campus collaboration.
- “Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Wisdom of Plants” by Robin Wall Kimmerer is the selection for Buffs One Read in the fall.
- Cadets from CU Boulder's AFROTC executed a 24-hour memorial run for Officer Eric Talley and the other victims of the Table Mesa King Soopers tragedy.
- Students whose parents, stepparents or grandparents attended CU Boulder are eligible for a complementary black-and-gold cord to wear during commencement. If you're walking in May, register now for your legacy cord.
- The CU Naval ROTC recently conducted a three-day field exercise near Colorado Springs. Students applied, in a tactical environment, the Marine Corps tactics, techniques and procedures they've learned on campus throughout the year.

- Permanent faculty, staff and graduate students on appointment now have access to an added back-up child, adult and elder care benefit through CU's existing Bright Horizons partnership.
- CU Boulder was recently awarded a $3.1 million grant to help students finish their studies. The grant, provided by the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative, funds a program that helps Colorado residents economically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic return to school to earn their degrees by 2025.
- The CU Board of Regents recently announced the latest slate of recipients of honorary degrees, distinguished service medals and university medals. The CU Boulder affiliates––Juan Espinosa, Linda Hogan, Ryan Haygood and Michael Leeds will be part of a private ceremony on May 4.
