In order to enroll in Summer Session classes, students will need written approval from a parent or guardian and a high school official. To apply for Summer Session, fill out the summer application and a memorandum of understanding. The priority deadline to submit summer application materials is May 10. The final deadline for summer is July 5. Please note, most summer classes start in June.

If you have questions about the application or program, email us at hsaccess@colorado.edu

High school students are considered nondegree students, and therefore follow a similar application review process. If your application is approved, you will receive a student identification number to activate your Identikey and search/enroll in courses via Buff Portal.

High school students pay in-state tuition rates for Summer Session classes and may be eligible for the College Opportunity Fund. Learn more about summer tuition in the Tuition and Financial Aid section. Check with your school district to determine if financial assistance is available in the summer.
