Submit award nominations this spring
Every day, students, faculty and staff at CU Boulder make a difference through leadership, support, creativity and a commitment to our community. This spring, you have three opportunities to recognize those people by submitting a nomination for one of CU’s annual awards. If someone has inspired you, supported you or made campus feel more like home, now is the perfect time to lift them up.
CU Involvement Awards
The CU Involvement Awards celebrate leadership and engagement across campus. This includes students, student organizations, faculty and staff who show passion and make a positive impact in the Boulder community.
- Who can nominate: Students, faculty and staff
- Deadline: March 8 at 11:59 p.m.
If you know someone who builds community, leads with integrity or helps others get involved, consider nominating them.
Campus Sustainability Awards
The Campus Sustainability Awards honor individuals, programs and departments that are working to make CU Boulder more sustainable—whether that’s through reducing resource use, supporting social equity or strengthening our campus culture of sustainability. Award recipients will be recognized at the Campus Sustainability Summit on April 15, 2026.
- Who can nominate: Students, faculty and staff
- Deadline: March 15
Nominate someone who is finding creative ways to protect our environment or make campus more sustainable for everyone.
Marinus Smith Awards
The Marinus Smith Awards recognize faculty and staff who have made a positive difference in students’ lives. These awards are especially meaningful because every nomination comes directly from a student.
