Welcome to Student Life Social Interest Groups

Connect. Engage. Belong.

Social Interest Groups (SIG) are a vibrant part of our Student Life community, offering staff the opportunity to build meaningful connections through shared interests and activities. Join an established group or start a new one!

What are Social Interest Groups?

Social Interest Groups are centered around shared hobbies and passions. These groups are designed to:

  • Foster a sense of belonging
  • Strengthen community bonds
  • Enhance employee engagement
  • Add fun and enrichment to your work life

Community standards

All group members are expected to uphold our division’s workplace policies and community standards. Let’s build a culture of respect, inclusion and fun—together.

If you have questions about Social Interest Groups, please contact meagan.combs@colorado.edu.

  • Not ready to lead? No problem! We’ll help find a leader through our engagement platform.
