Tyler is excited to continue supporting geo graduate students by helping to secure funding for professional development, conferences/professional meetings, and social events that benefit the students, the department, and the broader university community.
His research entails microbial mineral formation and destruction, and the broader implications to the geochemical environment.
When not immersed in research, you can find him careening down a mountainside on either skis or bike.
