About CU Women in Computing

CU WIC is a BOLD student society dedicated to supporting women and diversity in computing. We welcome all students interested in computing.

We encourage networking and professional developing through inviting local companies to present to memebers in addition to hosting events such as resume workshops and mock interviews.

We foster community through providing members with the opportunity to develop new friendships and have access to a supportive group of women and allies in computing.

We promote increasing the involvement of women in computing through supporting women to attend conferences such as the Grace Hopper Conference.

Active Member Requirements

To be an active member, you must attend at least 2 general and 2 professional development events per semester

Board Member Requirements

To be an active board member, you must satisfy the following requirements:

- Attend at least 4 board meetings per semester

- Volunteer at 2 WIC-held events per semester

(These requirements overlap and can be used for general member requirements as well)
