Mia is a fourth-year student in biomedical engineering on the biomechanics pre-med track, working towards getting a minor in business and biochemistry. She is currently working in the Palmer lab doing research into the effect of zinc on breast cancer cells. With her free time, Mia loves to binge-watch TV, go on adventures, eat sushi and spend time with her family.

My name is Dante Mele and I am the Outreach Coordinator for BMES. I am currently an integrative physiology major pursuing dentistry and hope to use the biomedical engineering minor to complement my degree. Sydnei is a junior in the Biomedical Engineering program from Denver, Colorado. She hopes to attend medical school or graduate school - or both - when she graduates. As the director of the mentorship program, she works with the BME staff to create a longitudinal program that connects all BME students and solidifies the major. At CU, she performs improv every Friday night with Left Right Tim.
