Staff Council Bulletin - June 2022

Summer's here and once again your CU Boulder Staff Council, in partnership with Vitalant, are inviting the CU community to donate blood to help reduce the critical blood shortage currently facing our nation.

The Faculty & Staff Assistance Program is your in-house employee assistance program for all staff and faculty at CU Boulder. We are hosting a great line of workshops in conjunction with Elevations Credit Union and our FSAP clinicians for this summer starting June 22!  

Not quite feeling like your best self?  To combat burnout, stress and anxiety, LinkedIn Learning, a free resource to all employees and students available through the MyCUInfo portal, provides relevant resources to help cultivate a healthy work-life balance, safeguard your mental well-being, and achieve a life of purpose.

Do you live in Longmont or commute via the "Diagonal", aka Highway 119?  If so, there are two things we need your input on.

Looking to be more active this summer? All CU Staff who visit the CU Rec Center any Friday from June 3rd through August 5th will receive FREE entrance upon presentation of your Buff One Card.

As a CU staff member, your dependents may be eligible for scholarships funded by CU Boulder and Elevations Credit Union. 

Earlier this Spring, CU Boulder released the results of the Campus Culture Survey, which was given to students, faculty and staff during the Fall, 2021 semester. 

CU Leave Policy states that depending on employee classification, there is a maximum number of hours that can be carried over each fiscal year. If you are someone who is at risk of forfeiting hours at the end of June, consider donating those hours to the CU Leave Sharing Program.
