Biography

Dr. Jennifer B. McDuffie serves as the Interim Senior Vice Chancellor for Operations, overseeing the SRS units of Human Resources, Public Safety, Information Technology, Health and Wellness, and Compliance, Ethics and Policy. Previously serving as Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Jennifer has more than 15 years of higher education experience within operations, enrollment management, academic policy and services, student affairs and crisis management. Prior to joining the SRS team as Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief of Staff to the COO in 2022, Jennifer was the Associate Vice Chancellor of Health and Wellness Services at CU Boulder, and also led the Pandemic Response Office for the campus.

Jennifer earned a B.S. in Family Studies and Psychology from Mississippi University for Women and a M.S. in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Mississippi State University. In 2020, she graduated with a Doctorate of Educational Leadership and Equity from the University of Colorado Denver. Her dissertation focused on the mental health of Generation Z college students.

Jennifer’s interests include true crime podcasts, college football, southern style cooking, traveling to see family and friends, and exploring Colorado.
