Biography
Theresa received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Carolina Asheville. Her research interests include families, childhood grief, trauma, and social stratification. It was her own children's experience, following the unexpected death of their father, that transformed her personal and professional trajectory and inspired her re-entry into the academic world.
