Hannah Lyden grew up in Winter Park, Florida. She earned her bachelors at Furman University in psychology, and her master's at the George Washington University in forensic psychology. As an undergraduate intern, her research focused on campus sexual assault, sexism, and rape myth acceptance. She spent two years working in the DC area as a Research Assistant for a private firm where she worked on NIJ's CrimeSolutions.gov and OJJDP's Model Programs Guide, among other things. Her general research interests include juvenile justice, recidivism, reentry, and program evaluation.
