Bio

Eduardo is a PhD student at the University of Colorado, Boulder.  He grew up in a rural northern California town and received his MA in Sociology from California State University, Sacramento in 2020 where he also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Institute for Social Research.  His Master's thesis, "Mexican Farmworkers' Standpoint of Calfornia Agriculture," uses the testimonies of documented and undocumented farmworkers in Northern California to contextualize their transnational experiences within the context of coloniality."  His life in the fields of California informs his interest in advancing research that centers the historical and continuous relegation of Indo-American workers to substandard working and living conditions through a decolonial feminist lens.
