Laura Patterson's Film Shown at Denver Film Festival

Laura Patterson screened her short film, “Silent Generation” at the 2025 Denver Film Festival.  Dr. Patterson’s film explores the difficulties of aging alone, using a horror aesthetic to explore how tasks that used to be mundane and routine – like doing a load of laundry – transform into threatening and how people living alone become isolated, facing these challenges without societal support.
